"Much has been made of the connection between Kurt Cobain and Neil Young. "Sleeps With Angels", supposedly written as a response to Kurt Cobain's suicide, Young wishes and hopes that Cobain in sleeping with angels. In his suicide note, Cobain quoted Young's lyrics from Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black) "it's better to burn out than to fade away"."

This Neil Young cover was recorded within weeks of the "sleeps with Angel" release. This is a stark reminder that there is no glory in a rock death, it is just death. Stoney felt that Kurt Cobain was a true inovator and was sad at his death. Just because you lose your relevancy does it mean you need to burn out. We all need to re-evaluate where we are and pick-up the pieces and start again. Will it be different,YES, but none the less we all need to keep on keepin' on. You just do not know what is around that next corner.
